What is grounding and what are its health benefits?

Grounding, also known as earthing, is a practice that involves establishing a physical connection between the human body and the Earth. This direct contact with the Earth’s surface offers numerous health and wellness benefits.

First, grounding helps reduce stress and anxiety levels. When in contact with the Earth, the body releases negative ions that balance the body’s electrical charge, which in turn has a calming effect on the nervous system.

Additionally, grounding improves sleep quality and increases energy levels. By walking barefoot on the Earth, the body absorbs electrons that help reduce inflammation and improve blood circulation.

Moreover, grounding has positive effects on the immune system. Being in contact with the Earth exposes the body to a greater diversity of microorganisms, strengthening natural defenses and reducing the risk of illness.

It is a simple and accessible practice that can provide numerous benefits to physical and mental health.

Simply by walking barefoot on the Earth, people can experience a greater sense of well-being and balance.
